Money Laundry

Follow the money

The biggest goal of all criminal organisations is to earn money.

To assure the money flow without getting seen by justice departments or other organisations, it's need to focus on ways out of the regularly money transfer.

Still, unused money can be seen as dead money and will have no use for new activities and possibilities to grow.

Getting the money into the normal economy is one of the tactics to grow as organisation and to expand power and positions.

In every country we can calculate enormous money streaming within unofficial systems which keep the organized crime ongoing.

In 2026 the amount of money was already calculated up to billions.

Money transfer is not pure financial transport but can be hidden in transport of goods, buildings, expensive jewellery, paintings, fraud, drugs etc.

Often, criminal money is used to pay for services of other persons who work in the same milieu but not directly in the same region.

Money transfer is used worldwide.

International criminals work close together within the same business or when the have the same interests or benefits. Of course, not all criminals are good friends.

International official money institutes, banks, must, by big money transfers, inform official departments to assure that the money is legal.

It is that way that a lot of transfers are done by cash, so transactions can't be traced.

Often, subterranian banks are used to wash or transfer money between organisations or clients and executers.

These subterranian bankers look like normal residents, like you and me, but have in most cases a certain stock of money at home, often hidden in places nobody will seek.

These bankers are well connected with other bankers around the world and they are specialized to clean or whiten money.

Money can be used inside normal, legal, companies were bankers are shareholders or they finance small companies like barber- or food shops. Every possible way to transfer or wash money from the underground to the top can be thought of.

A lot of legal companies try to survive and subterranian bankers love to give credits or become a partner, especially if companies work in the transport sector. Think about drugs, people, stolen goods, weapons, cigarettes etc. that must be transported between countries. this is called: trade-based money laundering.

Criminals, who use the sunterranian bankers to pay for services will bring the needed money to these persons by themselves or by couriers.

Bankers can also wash or exchange money within the same country.

After agreed payment and "service agreements" to the bankers, this last position is responsible that the payment is fulfilled to the opposite partner.

Efficient banking is part of the economic structure of criminal good transfer.

Bankers must be trusted and must keep themselves quite unindentified and neutral. Also, the way to receive or transfer money must be well organized.

For police and justice, these bankers are very interesting since they hold a lot of information about criminal networks. To identify them is extremely difficult.

Subterranian bankers can work in legal jobs as trust offices, accountants, taxes advisors, estate agents, etc. mostly in sectors that should be aware of fraud.

Investing in real estate is difficult to trace but can be interesting for money laundring since actual value against real value of real estates can be hard to check.

Looking at money laundry and the drug market, mostly small bankers or single persons transfer the money.

As soon as fraud in big style is handled, bigger institutes are involved.

Criminals work in a parallel economical stucture and bank facilities never come into the normal economies.

Often these stuctures handle more money than some countries as budget have and illegal money supports governments.

At that time the integrity of countries will fall and criminals take over. They buy politicals and tell them how to act in parliaments or other government or justice structures.

For this, it's important to review regularly internal structures.
Ask yourselves, why colleagues can take holidays so often, drive big cars, buy houses etc.

Everybody can be influenced or be bought with enough money or pressure.

If you see something that looks odd, think twice.
